A parallel deployment of Hyperliquid using mock funds. Same interface, same order types, same margin mechanics, no real money.
Getting on it
Switch your wallet to the testnet network, visit the testnet interface, and claim mock USDC from the faucet.
Who it’s for
Developers building against the API who need somewhere to break things. And traders learning the venue who want to see a liquidation before paying for one.
What’s different from mainnet
HyperEVM behaves differently on testnet in ways that matter to developers — check the documentation rather than assuming parity.
For traders, the gap is liquidity. Testnet books are thin and populated by other testers, so fills there don’t resemble mainnet costs.
What testnet is not
A place to validate a strategy. Testnet tells you whether you understand the venue’s mechanics. It tells you nothing about whether an approach has an edge, for reasons covered in the paper trading entry.
