AlphaNet documents separate controls for stopping strategies, changing allocations and withdrawing funds. These preserve user choice but do not guarantee immediate completion at a particular price.
Stopping and withdrawing are different
Stopping addresses the strategy’s trading activity and the associated position-closing process. Withdrawing transfers an available balance out of the trading system. Capital supporting an open position is not necessarily available for withdrawal in the same way as unused collateral.
For example, an exit can be requested while the market is moving. The eventual execution price affects the balance left after closing. A withdrawal then depends on the available balance and the applicable settlement process.
What can affect timing?
Liquidity, open orders, margin requirements, venue availability and network processing can affect the sequence or timing. The ability to request a stop is therefore different from instant, cost-free access under every market condition.
Disconnecting a wallet is also not equivalent to unwinding a strategy or revoking every authorization. Wallet disconnection and token-approval revocation are separate concepts.
The relevant confirmation is the completed account state: whether positions are closed, orders remain outstanding and funds have settled—not merely whether a request was submitted.
Limits when stopping or withdrawing
The 3× deployment limit uses each strategy allocation multiplied by its Max exposure percentage, plus manual net-position notional, divided by equity. The separate 6× auto-stop limit uses actual live strategy net-position notional plus manual net-position notional, divided by equity. Positions are netted within each asset separately for strategy and manual groups, then the absolute net amounts are added across assets; strategy and manual positions never offset each other. At the auto-stop limit, strategies are stopped and their positions closed; manual positions remain open for the user to manage. A withdrawal reduces equity and can increase both ratios. A strategy stop request is not a completed exit; monitor remaining positions and the applicable account ratios while closing is in progress.
