Can I Copy Trade on Hyperliquid?

FAQ · HYPERLIQUIDUPDATED SEP 15 20262 MIN READ

Not natively. Two routes exist: depositing into a user vault, and third-party tools that mirror a chosen wallet’s trades into your own account.

Vaults

Your capital pools with the leader’s. Their trades are your trades, proportionally, and the leader takes a share of profits. Straightforward, and the leader has skin in the game. But you get one strategy, no control over sizing, and no way to run it alongside anything else.

Mirror tools

Third-party services watch a wallet and replicate its trades into yours. Your capital stays in your account; you set your own size.

Hyperliquid’s transparency makes this possible — every position is public. It also means you’re following someone who knows they’re being watched, with a lag between their fill and yours that costs you the best prices.

What copy trading can’t tell you

Why the trade happened. A public history shows what someone did, not whether it was skill. Twenty profitable trades isn’t evidence of an edge.

A published strategy with a stated method and a dated track record is a different kind of object — you can evaluate it before committing. That distinction is covered fully in the entry on AI trading bots versus quant systems.
